The Sacred Tree Massage and Healing opened in April of 2001 in Amesbury, MA.  After a fire in the original office, the practice was moved to Newburyport, MA.  The mission of The Sacred Tree is to create a greater feeling of well being and a renewed sense of confidence.

  

"I've been a client of Marty weekly since April of 2005.  Before then, I had periodic episodes of lower back pain, sometimes mild and sometimes so bad that I could hardly move.  I tried everything- specific lower-back exercises, conventional painkiller/muscle relaxer therapy from my physician and finally six months of 3 times/per week chiropractor visits prior to my first visit to Marty in April, 2005.  In fact my last chiropractor visit was two days before I saw Marty for the first time.  A friend of mine recommended him when she saw that I was still in pain and not getting better. 

In summary- before I began seeing Marty, nothing helped- drugs, exercises, chiropractor visits- nothing helped. 

Almost miraculously, after the very first session with Marty, and since then (for over 4 years now) I have not had a reoccurence of my back pain.  After only one session I had dramatic relief from pain, and after the second session the pain was gone!  Every once in a while (especially after heavy yard work or lifting) I feel a warning "twinge" in my back and Marty concentrates on my lower back in the next session.  Marty- I can't thank you enough for what you've done for me."
